In September 2009, the Data Bank program, which monitors and documents grave Israeli violations of Palestinian rights in occupied East Jerusalem was launched. Within this program, MSD field team collects data, monitor and document Israeli violations of human rights in Jerusalem. Afterwards, all data is entered into a specialized database which is precise, easy to use, access and analysis. The database is updated on a daily basis through the data collected by the field team. The program presents a comprehensive database for stakeholders on the local and international levels and its reports are adopted by the Palestinian authority, OCHA and several UN and international organizations. Within a very short time, Al-Maqdese became a credited Palestinian source documenting Israeli violations and practices against Palestinian rights and land in occupied Jerusalem. In addition, Al-Maqdese documents home demolitions in occupied Jerusalem not to mention displacements of children and women in particular since 1967.
