The Israeli authorities evacuates and demolishes AL-A’raqib village, a part of demolition plan of another 45 villages and cleansing the Negev from Arabs

The Israeli bulldozers with thousand of police and special forces, demolished AL-A’raqib village as an unrecognized village, near Rahat in the Negev. The police forces bagan a mass evacuation of 300 people and demolition of nearly 40 tin houses and buried its ruins under the ground, also bulldozed the lands and uprooted the trees. At that point, the reaction of the resident was rage; they set tires on fire and closed the streets, this led to violent clashes between the residents and the police forces, in which the police encircled the town’s outskirts and closed the entrances.


 A lot of the civilians were injured and the police arrested  number of protesters on the evacuation and demolition, with their large number, the police forces took control over the situation. The residents in that village confirm that they will not leave their land and their village will be rebuilt again.
