Muhammad AL-Sabbagh family defended its right before the so called “Magistrate Court” ,in Jaffa Road in the western Jerusalem, of ownership of their house in Sheikh Jarrah and defied the order of house evacuation. The lawyer Husni Abu Hussein defended the case before the Court and defied all the “settler” cooperatives claims of land ownership, and another trial was scheduled later on. AL-Sabbagh family consists of 42 members living in this house and its facilities. The settler cooperatives took over the houses of AL-Kurd and AL-Ghawi families on the pretext of owning them and consequently displaced its residents. Now, these cooperatives are trying to put their hands on the rest of these houses, of 28 houses, in Sheikh Jarrah.
